EFA Lean™ |
 |
Introduction & Overview |
EFA Lean™ is a dietary supplement that is purported to promote weight loss by serving as a fat burner. However, at the time of our review, we could not find any consumer reviews or online testimonials to back these claims.
There are many products on the market that are intended to assist consumers in this same way. We will examine the information we were able to find regarding this product, in order to determine whether it may be more effective than similar products currently manufactured and sold.
|
 | Pros |
• Rather simple dosage technique
• Contains Vitamin E, which is known for its “antioxidant” properties
• Available in liquid form, as opposed to capsules
|
 | Cons |
• Approximately $31.99 for a 30-day supply, which was more than similar supplements we found
• No consumer reactions or online testimonials at time of review
• Unclear dosage schedule
• Contains Saturated Fat
|
 | Products Formula |
This product contains many ingredients that are designed to promote weight loss. These ingredients include: Vitamin E, which contains “antioxidants” and is known to strengthen the immune system; and Gamma Lineolic Acid, which is said to lower blood pressure.
However, we have some concerns regarding some possible health risks and obstacles in the weight loss war, which we will examine in the following section.
|
 | Formula In Depth |
One issue we have is that this product contains Saturated Fat, which may cause weight gain for some users. Saturated Fat is found in foods such as potato chips and bacon. Gamma Lineolic Acid is also said to carry cancerous risks for some users.
|
 | Company Website |
However, there are more troubling concerns for us. It is suggested, according to the retailer’s website, that the user take one tablespoon of the liquid with food. However, it does not specify an exact time in which it should be taken. We believe that any company that would like its consumers to benefit from its products will provide them with this kind of information. Omitting this information may make it difficult for some to benefit from use of the product. Conversely, it may prove dangerous if taken at an improper time.
|
 | Cost |
A 30-day supply of this liquid costs about $31.99. We examined the websites of several companies that produce and sell similar products, and their prices ranged from around $19.99 to $24.99. They also offered free trials and discounts for bulk purchases, which this group does not.
|
 | Similar Pills and Programs |
We examined several websites that are devoted to the sale and promotion of products similar to this one. Most of those websites contained sections that were devoted to consumer testimonials and reviews, in which they lauded the effectiveness of these products. We would be significantly more comfortable if this product had more consumer support in regard to its advertised effectiveness.
Most of these websites also gave in-depth descriptions of the ingredients, as well as the processes by which each ingredient performs its functions (fat burning, appetite suppression, metabolism increase, etc.). Unfortunately, the promotion for EFA Lean™ consisted of a one-paragraph description.
|
 | Conclusion |
EFA Lean™ is said to assist dieters in their weight loss pursuits by serving as a fat burner. Some of the ingredients, such as the Vitamin E, may be able to do just that.
However, we have some concerns. Besides the relatively high price and the possible side effects mentioned here, we would have liked it if the retailer’s website had promoted the capsule more vigorously. Many of the sites we looked at had consumer reviews to back the effectiveness of the products, and they offered descriptions of the ingredients, not just quick mentions.
In closing, we feel EFA Lean™ may work well for some, though there are several companies that manufacture products that help dieters work towards similar goals without possible side effects. Moreover, many of these products are more reasonably priced, and more ingredient information is provided, as is valuable customer service.
