Concept
According to her website, Scheible struggled with weight issues for several years. This website contains recipes for foods said to be “healthy,” dieting tips, journals Scheible kept during her weight loss quest, different types of diet calculators and links to exercise regimens, all with the intention of assisting people in losing weight.

Creator's Website
On her website, Scheible states that she “is not a doctor” and does not “have any medical qualifications.” As potential dieters, we would appreciate the honesty on her part. However, most books and websites that offer dieting advice have been created by people with advanced degrees in nutrition. They have also published articles in scholarly journals, and appeared on national radio and television programs as “expert” speakers on the subjects of nutrition and dieting, as opposed to writing blogs on a personal web page.

Similar Programs
On her website, Scheible takes us through the process she went through in order to achieve weight loss. She worked through two different weight loss plans: The South Beach Diet, and a plan she found in a book titled, Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle. To us, this seems like a relatively complex method of losing weight. Most people whose testimonials we have read lost weight by following one specific program. Some beginning dieters may feel overwhelmed by two plans. If they feel this way, there is a greater chance that they may abandon their plans of dieting, “relapse” into old, unhealthy ways of eating and gain weight. As far as we know, these methods have only worked for one person: Scheible. It may not work for all people who desire to lose weight.
In researching the recipes she posts, we found that some contain high amounts of fat, namely the pumpkin pie (which contains 22 grams). Foods that are high in Fat may be counterproductive to people’s goals of weight loss, and are the exact opposite of the reason someone would click on this website in the first place. Most of the books we found have recipes that are low in Fat. There are also several companies that manufacture products with Hoodia, a well-known (and well-liked) appetite suppressant. These companies suggest strict dietary regimens that do not involve foods high in Fat.

Dieter Feedback
At the time of this review, we could find no testimonials from anyone that Scheible’s plan worked for them. Most of the books we found that offer this type of guidance had at least one person who was satisfied enough with the programs that they were willing to come forward and “testify” to their effectiveness, even if they did cost money.

Conclusion
Best Diet Tips is marketed to assist people in losing weight by providing eating, exercising and journaling ideas. These ideas may work well for some people, however, despite Scheible’s seemingly excellent intentions, we have some concerns.
Firstly, we think the plan highlighted here is subjective, as it seems to have worked for Scheible. However, everybody’s body structure works differently, and the plans may not work for everyone. We have no scientific evidence or even any dieters to claim that the program works. Scheible even states on her own website that she is “not a doctor.” Therefore, we are unsure if she is qualified to give such advice.
Overall, we believe the program on her website may work for some users. However, there are many books out there that are written by nutritionists and health experts that have been lauded by their readers. There are also companies that have nutritionists who manufacture products that contain Hoodia, which has led to successful results for many. Moreover, some manufacturers even provide free sample trials of the ingredient.
